Gold Crystals dial

First introduced in 2008, the Gold Crystals dials highlight the natural crystal structure of gold in a captivating play of reflections and colours.

Unique and precious dials are manufactured from an 18 ct gold alloy specially developed by Rolex in its own foundry. They undergo a particular surface treatment which reveals, as if by magic, the crystals in the metal. The phenomenon produces veritable natural works of art, each dial totally different from another. This process gives rise to exuberant dials whose many-faceted gold crystals reflect the light in a myriad of glistening variations with the changing angle of observation.
