The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona stands for performance, refinement, innovation and style. Much like the motor racing universe that has inspired its creation over half a century ago. Today, we have the pleasure of presenting you a recent addition to the Cosmograph Daytona collection with the Daytona reference 116515LN, a combination of 18ct Everose gold, Cerachrom and Oysterflex.
Oysterflex refers to the proprietary bracelet option of Rolex crafted from high-performance elastomer over flexible metal blades. High-tech-looking and sublimely comfortable, Oysterflex gives a new-found edge to the Daytona design that has tirelessly pushed sports watch aesthetics since its inception in 1963.

A luxurious match of unique materials define the “watch head,” as it is technically called by seasoned watch lovers.
Much of the 100-meter water resistant Oyster case is crafted from 18ct Everose gold — the proprietary pink gold alloy that was developed by Rolex and is manufactured exclusively in Rolex’s very own gold foundry.
Matched to the warm, mysterious hues of Everose gold is a black Cerachrom bezel in extremely scratch resistant ceramic. The iconic “UNITS PER HOUR” graduations are neither painted, nor stick-on, of course. Rather, the 400-to-60 track of the bezel is beautifully engraved into the Cerachrom material, with gold PVD deposited into the precisely crafted cavities for ideal legibility.
A Chocolate brown dial with black sub-dials and 18ct Everose gold markers complete that aforementioned, singular blend of luxurious materials, colors and textures. Chocolate brown is, it is no secret, a rather more rare option when compared to currently trending hues used on watch dials; and yet, when judged in person, this combination of Chocolate brown and black, with Everose accents and framed by black Cerachrom, is destined to impress and amaze spectators.
Powered by the absolutely outstanding Manufacture Rolex Caliber 4130, the Cosmograph Daytona 116515LN is a Superlative Chronometer meaning each and every timepiece has individually passed the independent COSC chronometer tests, as well as Rolex’s yet more stringent and thorough in-house quality control procedures.
